    Description

    We advise many of the world's leading private equity and growth equity funds on Technology & Product Due Diligence. We bridge the gap between technology, product, and real-world business challenges.

    Responsibilities

    Work with us as a Tech and/or Product-focused Associate for Tech & Product Due Diligence. Be part of a team and support deals.

    As a team, we will work together along the entire value chain, from project kick-off through to report delivery. This includes working with our internal software tool, Bionic, as well as client and target exposure during workshops.

    Your responsibilities will also include growing a team and you will play an active role in continuously refining and improving our core product: actionable, holistic, and modern Tech & Product Due Diligence.

    Qualifications

    You have deep operational, hands-on experience in Technology and Product as a software engineer, product manager, and/or entrepreneur.

    You have an astute understanding of and documented interest in the commercial implications of tech and product decisions for maximizing a company's success. Hands-on experience in business/finance is a plus, but not required.

    You are able to translate between business and Technology/Product and can explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

    You are proficient in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus but not required.

    You have grit and you deliver when it matters, on time and high quality.

    You are self-organized and can contribute fully remotely (we no longer have an office).

    And, maybe most importantly, you have strong ethical values, can analyze and deliver unbiased opinions in line with an investor's investment hypothesis, and always remain fair to the company being analyzed and its (market, regulatory, product, team,...) realities.

    In each Due Diligence, we assess an investment target's technical, product-related, and engineering capabilities. While Product is about knowing what "not" to build, and why, Technology focuses on "hard facts." Engineering addresses the team and internal processes and practices.
