    Job Title:
    Technical Operations ManagerLocation: Newcastle office, with hybrid working flexibilitySalary: Up to circa £60,000 depending on skills and experience.

    For the last 30 years, Cybit have been supporting businesses across the UK with all areas of IT consultancy, technical support and hosting; as well as having specialist Cyber Security and Data & Analytics arms to the business.

    Wherever our customers are on their IT roadmap, we can support them, from a simple IT review to a full cloud migration and ongoing infrastructure support.

    We operate out of three offices, Berkshire, Newcastle & Belfast, and have 150 employees across Cybit.

    We have great relationships with our vendors, and we're a Microsoft Gold Partner, AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Qlik Elite Partner, Alteryx Premier Partner, Palo Alto Platinum Innovator, F5 Gold Partner, and moreWhat You'll DoAs a Technical Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient support of our client base.

    This role will predominantly involve live service but will include crossover between the delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition between delivery and support.

    You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of escalated technical resolution within the 2nd Line and 3rd Line Support team.

    Whilst this role is a leadership position, the Technical Operations Manager will require a strong IT background to support their team.

    We're looking for someone withExposure to leading teamsExperience of working within IT support environmentExperience in supporting Windows based workloadsExperience in Microsoft 365, Mail, OneDrive.

    SharePoint and TeamsExperience in supporting Cloud based solutions such as Azure and AWSBroad Networking skillsUnderstanding of disaster recovery & backup operationsExperience in leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

    Understanding of ITIL methodologies.
