A newly created Financial Controller position has become available within a dynamic business on the outskirts of Preston.This well known brand is embarking on a 5 year growth strategy which will see turnover increasing by approximately 200% through entering overseas markets and expanding the services they provide.
This role is an ideal first or 2nd time industry move for a candidate from an Accountancy Practice background.
Whilst there are many technical accounting responsibilities as part of this role, there will also be opportunities to add value in other areas relating to growth initiatives and process/system improvements with plenty of stakeholder interaction, providing strategic financial guidance at a senior level.
25 days annual leave entitlement, increasing to 30 days (+ bank holidays) with length of serviceFinancial Controller:
Working in a team of 5 finance staff, this Financial Controller role acts as no.2 support to an experienced and engaging Finance Director.
As Financial Controller, specific duties will include:The ideal candidate will be fully ACA or ACCA qualified with experience within Accountancy Practice, with some industry experience ideally.
A forward thinking approach is required with an analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex financial data to provide strategic insights.
