    Description

    Company: Our client, a major Oil and Gas operator, is looking for an Installation Manager for Cables in their London office. This is a permanent position.

    Job Description: If you're degree qualified and have significant experience in large Marine transport and installation projects, particularly in offshore wind, then this role is perfect for you.

    • Support the review and implementation of FEED outcomes, main asset procurement, and detail design.
    • Manage the offshore installation during execution.
    • Plan and develop management processes for offshore cable installation.
    • Create installation plans and execution strategies for cable scopes.
    • Draft tendering documentation and review responses from contractors.
    • Provide technical guidance on weather downtime assessments, carousel management, and CBRA development.

    Responsibilities: Develop installation methodologies for cables, including cable lay, burial, termination, and testing. Provide technical governance, input into schedule assumptions, and outline technological constraints applicable to all stages of cable installation.

    Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in marine, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, with extensive experience in marine T&I projects. Experience in contract development, negotiation, and tendering documentation preparation is essential.

    Experience in health, safety, environmental legislation, marine operations, and supply chain management related to cable supply and offshore construction.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation in construction projects.
    • Experience with CDM projects, HSE legislation, design risk assessment, and method statement production.
    • Familiarity with contracts and terms for T&I contracts.
    • Knowledge of marine operations and applicable codes and standards.

    Support project construction phase closing and ensure timely documentation release and handover.
