    Role:
    Electrical Engineer

    Salary:
    £35, 000 up to £45,500

    Location:
    Leeds

    Our client is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to work alongside their Development Team within their innovation centre based in Leeds.

    They are 5th Generation family company that has grown up to 700 employees and continues to grow its team in development and innovation.

    Continuous improvement is what our client embodies specifically in their spring systems which they make 100& of which has allowed them to become the most vertically integrated bed manufacturer in the world.

    This achievement has given them the focus of innovation into everything that they do.

    They are always dreaming up new ideas to ensure you sleep soundly every night, you could say it's what gets them out of bed in the morning.

    39 hours per week.

    We have two shift patterns available:
    Option 1 is 4 day weeks, Monday to Thursday (6am-4:15pm Mon-Wed & 6am to 3:15pm Thu)
    Option 2 is 5 day weeks, Monday to Friday (6am-2:15pm Mon-Thu & 6am-1pm)

    We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to be part of this well-established team based in Leeds.

    Main Duties
    Electrical building of machines including all wiring, control panels, PLC set-up and programming
    Commissioning of production machines – both internal and external, including occasionally overseas
    Working with, modifying, and installing machine automation (Allen Bradley, Schneider, Keyence etc.)
    Developing and improving existing machinery
    Fault diagnosing and finding solutions to a wide range of electrical problems
    Specifying and sourcing of electrical components required for builds
    Working closely with the design and mechanical teams, sharing ideas and concepts
    Support production/maintenance engineers when required
    Develop engineering improvements and systems in line with the company's objectives
    The Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise (Ideally 5 years+), creative problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit.

    A commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and a proactive approach to challenges are essential for success in this role.

    Furthermore we are looking for someone who displays:
    Good communication skills
    Able to work under pressure
    Problem solving and diagnostics
    Experience building/fixing/running production machinery
    Competent at reading electrical schematic drawings
