Apprentice Security Engineer

By joining the Johnson Controls team as an Apprentice security engineer you'll be joining global leader in engineering and integrated solutions

You'll work with innovative technology and solutions in the Security sector. You'll learn hands-on, installing, maintaining, and understanding of security systems that protect individuals and businesses. What you will do:

As a security engineer you'll dive into a hands-on role where every day brings exciting challenges and opportunities for growth. From installing cutting-edge security systems to fine-tuning CCTV networks, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring safety and security for homes and businesses.

You will work closely with an experienced team of engineers learning how to protect individuals, homes and properties from risk and danger.

This involves installing and maintaining security systems intrusion detection, CCTV systems, and access control systems.

This role primarily focuses on large scale security projects where you will be given experience on both the instillation and service teams. You will also be given the opportunity to gain experience with our fire security teams.

You will be traveling daily to client premises across a variety of sites: domestic, commercial, retail, and more.

This is a field-based position covering all of London & South East areas.

On-the-job training will be provided working closely with our experienced Security engineers, many of these engineers have also been through our apprenticeship scheme so they are the perfect mentors to guide you through the apprenticeship.
