    Semi Senior Audit (Accountancy Practice Based)– North Yorkshire

    I am looking for a bright and able individual to join my clientsYorkshire office as an Audit Trainee/Semi Senior.

    Candidates must have a pro-active attitude, similar experience and be looking to develop their skills within a leading audit and accounts department.

    The successful applicant will provide complete and efficient back up to the audit department management team and the North Yorkshire office partners.

    This is a hybrid role that will include undertaking audit work, both in the office and at client premises. You would be expected to take responsibility for the delivery of small projects from the beginning.

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on audit work for a wide range of clients, including specialist work for business of all sizes within a complete range of industries.

    Preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, reporting on internal controls, financial due diligence and other ad hoc projects will also be required from time to time.

    The role provides a good range of work for someone with similar technical skills of a background of audit work, wishing to build on their experience and absorbing more responsibility to grow their skills in a fast-growing office that will provide opportunities for progression.

    The successful candidate will ideally be a part qualified accountantand possess a similar role of audit experience, ideally including the preparation or audit of consolidated group accounts.

    Furthermore, they should display a flexible, professional approach, and have the confidence and ability to establish credibility with partners and clients.

    Agile working policy giving you the option to work from home for up to 3 days per week.

    Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
    25 days annual leave. In addition, employees are entitled to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday a year
    Contributory pension scheme (The firm will contribute 5% of salary on a matched basis with employee from their date of joining)
    Life assurance cover of 4 x annual salary,

    Working from home allowance of £25 a month.
    Eligibility for the firm's Profit-Sharing Plan that runs from October to September each year. Employee referral scheme.

    Assistant Manager level and below, including support staff, will attract a referral reward of £5,000, Manager level or above, will attract a referral reward of £10,000.

    New client referral scheme. Staff have access to health assessments, cancer screenings and health cash plans through the flexible benefits programme.

    Paid travel expenses when working at offices other than your contracted office.
