    Female Rehabilitation Support Worker, LSC412
    Permanent / Part Time, Monday - Friday / Workington, Cumbria

    This post would ideally suit someone who enjoys the outdoors and has a love of animals.

    Our client has a keen interest in costal and rural walking, caring for her dog, grooming and riding horses along with cuppas out and a good craic.

    You will be required to work with a lovely and friendly lady with an acquired brain injury, you will support our client with her mobility and day-to-day living, encouraging her to access the community and support her to participate in hobbies and social activities.

    You will work in our client's own home and out in the community on a one-to-one basis.
    The salary for this role is £14 per hour increasing after successful 6-month induction period, depending on experience.

    Duties will include supporting our client with daily living skills, attending appointments, social and leisure activities and following therapy programs set by professionals.

    You should have previous experience of working in a support worker role
    A full UK Driving licence is essential and own car.
    You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g., completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
