    Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading global food manufacturer that is urgently looking for a Procurement Manager to contribute to the development of the regional indirect procurement category strategy, whilst leading the sourcing cycle and bringing in breakthrough ideas through outstanding approaches

    Key responsibilities:
    You will develop, support, and implement all procurement strategic projects that are held globally.

    Build and execute regional category strategies into sourcing and efficiency projects and define the partner team required to successfully deliver the project plan.

    Deliver cost reduction projects across regional spends and drive value improvement initiatives throughout the category.
    Engage proactively with team members to understand current and future requirements and align on a unified approach.

    Provide information and impact assessments for Global Procurement teams to support Global procurement strategies and plans and execute them for the region.


    Candidate requirements:


    A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalentIndirect Procurement Management experience working with Professional Services, HR, Travel, or IT categories.

    Excellent knowledge and experience of elite category management and sourcing practicesStrong strategic category experience (strategy to execution) to establish credibility with internal and external partners.

    Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with SAP and Office applicationsSalary will be circa £60K to £63K + Car Allowance + Benefits.

    The role will be based in the London area.
    Hybrid remote working options available (3 days in the office)
