Coatbridge and
Bellshill on a permanent part-time (16 to 30 hours per week) permanent basis.


The Role
As a Support Practitioner, we'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction. No two days are ever the same.

You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities and additional support needs in your local community.


The individuals we support live in the
Coatbridge & Bellshill areas and you'll provide support with all aspects of their daily living, including cooking and meal planning, household tasks, personal care, medication, and managing finances.


As well as helping the people we support in their own homes, you'll support them to do the things they want to do out in the community, including going to the football and gym, visiting museums, playing board games, day trips and going to the cinema.

You'll also support them to maintain relationships with their friends and family.


Your support will enable the individuals to not only maintain their independence and continue to live in their own homes; you'll also help them to play an active part of their community too.


About You


You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful.

We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too


All we'll need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • The ability to cook healthy meals
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.

Shift Patterns


We understand the importance of a good work/life balance, so we try to be as flexible as possible with our shift patterns.

Our team currently deliver support between the hours of hours, 7 days a week.

Weekends and public holidays would form part of your rota on a rotational basis, but we aim to only have you working two weekends in a 2 month period.


Shift length can be anything between 4 and 10 hours, depending on what suits you and the person you will be supporting.

There will be times where you will provide support to more than one person in one day. For this role, you will need to hold a full driving license and have access to your own vehicle. We pay mileage between support calls at a rate of 45p per mile.


Some of the people we support also have their own mobility cars too, so we will also need you to have at least one year of driving experience on the roads for insurance purposes.
