    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a talented Assistand Brand/Marketing Manager to join our team. Based in our Leeds head office and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing you will play a crucial role in the development of all our brand collateral and associated work.. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collobarotive team and gain experience in all facets of product development, supplier management, purchasing brand & marketing

    You will need great attention to detail, good memory and planning/organization skills. They are many different tasks related to many different projects that you will be helping to ensure we deliver on.

    We design and manufacture tactical clothing and equipment from our factory in Leeds. You should be local to Leeds to be in office 1-2 days a week, and you should have excellent verbal&written British-English

    Main Duties:

    Product and marketing collateral

    • Researching, identifying and building relationships with third parties to deliver projects, collateral and/or assets
    • Driving projects to ensure delivery of required assets across B2B and B2C platforms
    • Developing and maintaining all product collateral and product information shared with customers
    • Managing graphic, web and video designers for assorted projects
    • Proofreading any marketing or customer-facing materials
    • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
    • Creating assets needed for new brands such as product labels, product names, swing tags, collateral and packaging

    Competitor Analysis

    • Regularly conducting competitor and market audits
    • Creating mood boards to ensure the correct brand experience is provided

    Website management

    • Maintaining and improving the brand experience across 3 (soon to be 4) in-house brands - SafeGuard Armour, SafeGuard Clothing, Anthropia and Alphatec
    • Working with internal and external stakeholders to create and deliver a cohesive brand experience
    • Maintaining the Shopify website including stock control, content visibility and media shared
    • Maintaining our Amazon marketplace presence including stock control, content visibility and media shared
    • Ensuring Amazon orders are fulfilled and messages from customers are responded to on time to ensure maintenance of a good Amazon score.
    • Researching opportunities to expand our marketplace presence across various channels to improve and lift sales and profitability

    General Brand Management

    • Assisting with marketing plans including content, advertising, social media and campaigns
    • Liaising with designers, printers, photographers, videographers and more to produce best-in-class media, materials, packaging and product documentation
    • Expanding brand awareness
    • Assisting in creating naming conventions for new and existing products
    • Communicating with target audiences
    • Copywriting for all brands ensuring that the information shared resonates with the correct audience
    • Supporting Sales and Product teams with assets required to win tenders
    • Maintaining a positive brand image via review websites and social media

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Design Skills and Knowledge:
    • Demonstrate strong design skills and knowledge.
    • Good understanding of garment construction.
    • Communication and Software Proficiency:
    • Excellent verbal communication skills.
    • Adobe Creative Suite competence is a must.
    • Skills in Google Docs, Gmail, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Research and Innovation:
    • Proficient and thorough research skills.
    • An interest in innovation and creativity.
