    About The Role

    PROJECT MANAGER- Permanent Opportunity

    Division: Civil Engineering

    Location: Reading

    We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Civil Engineering Division in location and support our team on an exciting, £11million Highways development in Reading. GRAHAM is a company that takes pride in our collaborative approach and we're looking for a real team player. A full driving licence is essential.

    A Construction related degree , a CIPS qualification (or studying towards one), would be desirable but not essential .

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar position with a main contractor.

    Typical duties will include:
    • Undertake the management of all site staff
    • Drive planning of project
    • Manage and control all project resources
    • Be responsible for the overall management of the project
    • Ensure all Company Procedures are being complied with
    • Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Procedures are followed
    • Be responsible for achieving high standards of quality and workmanship on site
    • Ensure that all aspects of the project are effectively monitored and controlled
    • Deliver project within programme and budget
    • Manage and monitor subcontractors
    • Communicate effectively with the project management team
    • Liaise with client and designers
    • Attend monthly progress meetings and compile monthly reports
    • Introduce improvements and innovations where appropriate
    • Control contract costs
    • Positively promote the company wherever and whenever possible.
