    Description

    Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in overseeing deep excavations for utility projects in the highway? Do you want to be part of a company that values career growth and forward-thinking approaches? If this sounds like you, keep reading.

    Our client is a top multi-utility firm with a strong order book spanning the next four years. To manage their increased workload, they seek a skilled Project Manager to lead deep excavation mains replacement projects.

    Offer: Up to £65k Salary | Company Car or Allowance + Fuel Card | Annual Bonus | Pension | 25 Days Holiday + bank holidays

    Key Essentials:

    As a Project Manager, you will report to the Contracts Manager and oversee deep excavation projects for civils utility mains replacement. This includes backfill and reinstatement tasks.

    You will supervise a team of Site Agents, organizing regular site progress meetings with the client.

    Your role involves ensuring all projects adhere to CDM Regulations (RAMS), are constructed safely per designs, and documented accurately.

    You will collaborate with the commercial team on NEC contracts, capturing all variations and managing early warnings and compensation events.

    Maintain updated Project Planners and prioritize stakeholder management continuously.

    Conduct regular site audits with the client and local authorities.

    Requirements:

    Prior experience in project management for civils deep excavation within utility works on highways, with strong knowledge of legislation and technical standards.

    Commercial acumen (NEC contracts) and familiarity with CDM Regulations.

    Proven I.T. skills, preferably with MS Project experience (not mandatory).
