    Description

    Job Description Circular Resourcing are currently working with a number of well-established Solar / BESS Development Companies across the UK, looking to add a Grid Connection Manager to their team.

    Opportunities based in both London and Bristol.

    Hybrid / Remote options for both roles considered for the right candidate.

    Strong salary / bonus and benefits across both opportunities.


    About the role:
    Responsible for identifying and securing grid connections for solar and energy storage projects across the UK.

    You'll need to be a good communicator with both the internal team, and external consultants working on behalf of the developer.


    Position:


    In this role the successful candidate will identify and secure new grid connections and apply their technical and commercial expertise to the management of existing projects.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Identify new grid connection opportunities, working in collaboration with the land and planning teams.
    Apply technical and commercial expertise to the management of the connections pipeline.
    Coordinate with and build relationships directly with National Grid, DNOs and IDNOs.
    Manage and be responsible for the delivery of work undertaken by external contractors and consultants.
    Apply for new grid connections and assess the viability of offers received.
