- Responsibilities will include day to day running of the practice. All aspects of HR, recruitment, rotas, staff appraisals and inductions.
- You will be working within governing body guidelines ensuring the practice meets required standards with daily, weekly and monthly audits, risk assessments etc
- Ideally GDC registered up to date with CPD and have evidence of required inoculation
- Must have full working knowledge of CQC, GDC, Clinical governance, compliance and guidelines and as part of the role will be required to register as CQC Registered Manager
- Good working knowledge of what it takes to be CQC compliant ensuring all compliance, legal and health and safety requirements are adhered to.
- You will have strong leadership skills, working towards practice KPIs and targets and produce timely reports when required.
- You must have commercial awareness and a good understanding of profit and loss, budgets, finance, marketing for the practice.
- You must be able to demonstrate activity management to meet private targets and grow private patient numbers.
- Able to work on own initiative, work well under pressure and occasionally to set deadlines
- Occasional reception work and customer services as required
- Strong leadership skills and confidence in managing a team is essential part of this role
- Able to deal promptly with issues when they arise
- Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients and your practice team
- Able to handle complaints and any staffing issues
- Maturity, tact, integrity and respect for patient, staff and business confidentiality
- A profound sense of professionalism and dedication is required for this role
- Must be computer literate with Microsoft words and excel spreadsheets to be able to produce reports and presentations
- Must be confident and well spoken
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivated, organized with good time management, reliable and have a strong sense of commitment
- Must have good time management, as well as organizational skills of day-to-day managerial needs
- Good timekeeping and impeccable attendance record

Smile Stylist have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate as we are seeking a Full time experienced, confident and competent Dental Practice Manager who is 100% committed for our state-of-the-art Dental Practice on King Street, Manchester, M2 4LQ.
You will be responsible for our wonderful team and continue to enhance our positive, vibrant, and caring culture within and to help the business flourish.
Candidates should ideally have at least 3-4 years' experience as a Dental Practice Manager and must be a strong leader who has previously managed a team.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
It is a full-time position, which will be discussed at the interview. Candidates must be flexible with working hours and we are open one Saturday a month. (Please see website for opening hours: )
Salary will be discussed at the interview but the right candidate would achieve £35k+ per annum plus a generous bonus scheme.
Previous experience in Dental Practice Management and ideally dental nursing is essential.
