    Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Holloway, North London - Temporary - Start ASAP - £24.00 per annum

    Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Holloway, North London.

    CBW are currently recruiting for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to be based in a commercial building located in Holloway, North London.

    The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

    Working with a small maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM & reactive maintenance.

    Hours of work

    Shift - 12:00pm - 00:00am

    4 on 4 off
    £24 per hour
    Starting Immediately Requirements

    City & Guilds / NVQ
    NVQ in Mechanical
    You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
    A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
    An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
    Multi-skilled
    Good communication skills
    Excellent customer skills
    Need to be able to travel back home after finishing at 00:00am Mechanical duties:

    Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
    AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
    Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
    Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
    Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
    Water pressurization units
    Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling
    Steam Plant
    Condensers, Condenser Returns
    Cooling towers
    Softeners
    Humidifiers
    Hydraulics
    Pneumatics
    Boilers – re-sets
