    Deputy Store Manager in Osborne at Central Convenience

    Our Central brand consists of Convenience Storesand Garage Forecourts, offering extensive tailored ranges to meet our customerneeds

    Bestway Retail now supports nearly 3000 symbolretailers as well as operating over 400 franchised stores, and over 170 companyowned stores throughout England and Wales, we employ over 2500 colleagues whoenable us to provide a great local retail service in our communities.

    Through the acquisition of CostcutterSupermarkets Group into our Bestway Retail Division, our annual wholesaleturnover has grown to c£3b per year.

    We own the UKs largest franchised off licenseand convenience chains which encompasses the brands Bargain Booze, Wine Rack,Select Convenience and Central Convenience.

    Both retailers and suppliers are supported bythis new additional scale of the combined business, with the collaborativepartnership approach making Bestway the partner of choice for growing sales inthe convenience market.

    Deputy Store Manager
    Permanent – Full Time
    We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Store Manager to join our Store.

    As the Deputy Store Manager, you support the Store Manager and lead your store team in ensuring the best possible customer experience whilst maximising profit and ensuring compliance in all legislative areas.

    With close links to our head office teams, you will have excellent communication skills, be able to adapt to new innovations and ways or working and take pride in being the ambassador for the Central Convenience standards of practice.

    Hours of work: 40 hours per week
    Coach and develop store team to deliver outstanding service, and facilitating as much interaction on the shop floor as possible
    Present the store in-line with the company brand standards guidelines
    Build relationships with the local community to develop a positive representation of the brand
    Identify opportunities to improve store performance and support activities to generate additional business
    Help deliver action plans to develop and improve store performance
    Ensure store control guidelines are followed by all team members
