    Description

    We at Twenty4Seven Education are currently seeking a dedicated and creative English Teacher to join one of our esteemed secondary schools in Coventry.


    As an English Teacher, you will have the chance to inspire students to develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, preparing them for success in their academic and personal lives.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons that cover a range of literary genres, writing styles, and language skills.

    Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore, analyze, and interpret a variety of texts and media.

    Teach grammar, vocabulary, and language conventions within the context of authentic reading and writing tasks, promoting language proficiency and communication skills.

    Differentiate instruction to support students of varying literacy levels and learning styles, providing tailored support and challenge as needed.

    Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, including essays, presentations, and creative projects, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

    Foster a love for literature and language through discussions, debates, and activities that promote critical thinking, empathy, and cultural understanding.


    Requirements:
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in English literature or language education.

    Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.

    Experience teaching English to students of varying ages and abilities (preferred but not required).

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting literacy skills among students.
