    PCD5 £23,893 pro rata (FTE 37 hrs/p/w) Term Time Only plus 1 week INSET

    27.5 hrs per week, temporary until 31/08/2024 - linked to funding (with the possibility of it being extended to 31st August There is the option of additional hours including 2.5 hours per week as a Midday Supervisor (on a separate contract) and will be discussed at interview.

    Bridekirk Dovenby CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support classes across our happy and thriving school. We are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and learning to join our friendly, motivated and supportive team.

    We are looking for outstanding classroom practitioners who:

    • Have a passion for working with children both indoors and outside

    • Have experience of working with SEND

    • Are able to support whole class sessions, lead small group interventions and also provide 1:1 support

    • Have the skill to encourage independent learning amongst all pupils

    • Can help create a stimulating and imaginative classroom environment

    • Have high expectations of both themselves and pupils

    • Work well as part of a team, being flexible and highly motivated

    • Have good Maths and English skills

    Applicants must have relevant experience and qualifications i.e. NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent experience or knowledge in the relevant work area.
