    Public Health Nurse:
    Knowsley 0-25 Service

    Fixed term contract, with the possibility of being made permanent (subject to approval)

    You will work as part of an integrated 0-25 team and will be required to support the full delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.

    We work closely with our commissioners and partners to deliver the best possible services for the children, young people and families.

    An in-depth knowledge of the current health agenda relating to children's services is essential.

    You will be joining a proactive skill mixed team working together to deliver the Healthy Child Programme As part of the 0-25 Service which includes Health Visiting and School nursing you will be working closely with other local statutory, health and voluntary agencies to provide accessible, person centred packages of care in response to individual and local need.

    Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified nurses however some previous experience of working within a community environment would be beneficial.

    We offer opportunities for personal and professional development and you will receive regular appraisal, clinical and safeguarding supervision.
    Qualifications and professional training
    Registered Nurse (Adult/Child
    Evidence of recent professional development

    Modules at level - Public Health Related
    Knowledge of Public Health Priorities
    Knowledge of child development
    Knowledge of safeguarding issues and working with vulnerable families.
    Understanding of role within the Public Health Team

    Two years post registration with 12 months community experience
    Experience of data collection for reports
    Previous experience or working in a community environment

    Ability to use email, internet and word processing software
    Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the service
