TheRole

Castore have a significantroadmap of IT/business change planned over the coming 3 years. Thebusiness is growing rapidly is very successful and furtherprogrammes and projects will look to support the business in thatgrowth and include work in all core business areas within Castore;store operations as the business moves more to an omnichannelenvironment ecommerce as the online presence grows and across TeamSport International and Wholesale areas of the business.

We are looking to build an effective permanentbusiness solutions capability to support the technology plans overthe coming years.

This is an opportunity toreally make a difference within both the IT and the business teams.

The individuals within this team will be highlymotivated experienced and knowledgeable about retail and will bedriven to deliver the best solutions for both technology and thebusiness teams.

The individual will work closelywith their IT colleagues in areas such as Enterprise and SolutionsArchitecture Business Analysis Systems Analysis and Support. Theteam will also work closely with other business process and changeresources across the Castore business ensuring the successfuldelivery of programmes and projects into the business.

Responsibilities

Developingproject scope documents and project initiation documents involvingall of the relevant stakeholders within technology and the businessteams.

Ensuring that projects are deliveredontime within the correct scope and within budget while also beingcognisant of the wider delivery programme and not just the deliveryof individual projects.

Manage Business Analystteam

Coordinating internal resources and thirdparties/vendors where required for the flawless execution ofprojects.

Building and maintaining effectivecollaborative relationships with stakeholders in functions andacross the business and within the technology team.

Ensure resource availability andallocation.

Develop detailed project plans totrack progress.

Use appropriate verificationtechniques to manage changes in project scope schedule and costs.

Measure project performance using appropriatesystems tools and techniques.

Report andescalate to senior teams as required.

Managestakeholder relationships.

Perform riskmanagement to minimise project risks and ensure a RAID log is keptup to date and managed daily for each project.

Management ofdependencies.

Skills& Qualities

ProjectManagement experience gained within a retail environment in one ormore of the following core retail areas; Buying MerchandisingProduction Sourcing International Finance HR and Logistics.M&A integration experience would also bedesirable.

A collaborative organised structuredapproach to ways of working and documentation.

Solid technical background with anunderstanding of software development and web technologies.

Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture andBusiness Process Architecture.

Knowledge andunderstanding of behavioural and cultural change and how to landchange successfully within teams.

Experience ofERP solutions within a retail environment (ideallyNetSuite).

Excellent communication skillsability to communicate at all levels within the business from boardlevel down to individual business teams. Ability to be diplomaticto be able to effectively challenge solve problems thinkanalytically and understand and respond to business teams needs inoften rapidly changing environments.

Experienceof large scale business change/transformational change programmeswhich include complex business process change as well as IT change.

Ability to work effectively with large amountsof information both being able to drill down into the detail butalso being able to provide incisive high level overviews.

PM qualifications (Prince2 Agile) and expertiseacross both waterfall and agilemethodologies
