    Based in central Bristol, this chartered firm represents a diverse range of clients in a variety of industries, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, SMEs with turnovers ranging from £250,000 to £10,000,000, as well as a significant number of larger corporate clients with turnovers exceeding £40,000,000.

    As a result, a wide range of clients can be used to shape client work and portfolios based on the skill set, preferences, and motivations of the suitable personnel.

    Your new role

    As an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing, controlling, and conducting audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients with a turnover of up to £40 million, as well as developing strong relationships with those clients and the potential for involvement in advisory projects with the management and director group.

    Clients come from a variety of backgrounds and businesses. Other roles include financial statement preparation for non-audit clients, account preparation, and other duties.

    Given the scope of the role and the firm\'s positive developments, there are excellent prospects for short/medium/long-term career progression for career-focused individuals seeking to develop and progress their accountancy practice careers following qualification within a successful firm of chartered accountants.

    What you\'ll need to succeed

    You will be ACA or ACCA qualified, having a background as an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant in accountancy practice.

    You\'ll have recent experience working for a small or large accounting firm.

    So you could have experience working in smaller, independent organisations, directing the performance of audit, accounting, and other services to a diverse customer base including limited companies, SMEs, and OMBs, as well as single traders and partnerships.

    Alternatively, you may have spent your entire career in a larger company focusing solely on auditing large corporate clients and are looking for a transfer to a smaller business with more autonomy, influence, and control over your own career path.

    As a result, your career could have started at any size accounting firm.
