- Strong performing business : Their revenue has doubled in the last 5 years - £8m to £16m t/o.
- Role is 90-95% focused on quality management.
- You will have previously worked in a Quality Manager, Quality, Health, and Safety Manager, QHSE Manager role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- We are looking for a Quality Manager that can understand the ethos, culture and values of the business and drive QHSE to align with the business, not the other way around.
- A focus on driving quality, health, and safety, QHSE through the culture of the business, not making it a box ticking exercise – you will have lots of support from the Directors and Senior Leadership Team on this.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of ISO9001 quality management.
- Nebosh certification would be advantageous but not essential – training and development can be offered to achieve this.
- Take ownership of the leadership, development, and application of best practice Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, processes, policies, and procedures (ISO9001, 14001 and specific industry standards).
- A strong focus on customer and supplier quality.
- Leadership and ongoing development of small team (2 people).
- Collaborate effectively with quality management colleagues at other group sites when necessary (US & China) but we are not expecting this role to involve international travel.
- Champion and drive the continuous improvement culture and activities.
