    Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an MSP Network Engineer Fortinet located in Glasgow, with flexibility for some remote work.

    As an MSP Network Engineer Fortinet, you will be responsible for day-to-day network engineering tasks, such as configuring and maintaining network devices, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing security measures.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support network infrastructure solutions for our clients.

    Your role will also involve providing general technical support, monitoring network performance, and ensuring high levels of network availability and security.

    QualificationsStrong experience in network engineering, including configuring and maintaining network devicesProficiency in Fortinet products, such as FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch switches, and FortiAP access pointsKnowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principlesExperience with network troubleshooting, performance optimization, and capacity planningUnderstanding of ITIL best practices and experience in working with service level agreements (SLAs)Professional certifications such as CCNP, FCNSP, or NSE4 are highly desiredExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentAttention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyExperience of Microsoft 365 / RMM / MSP technologies a strong benefit.
