EQC Toka Tū Ake is an Aotearoa (NZ) Crown entity that invests in natural disaster research and education as well as providing natural disaster insurance to residential property owners.

As a Product Owner you will act at the bridge between the business and our Data and IT team, managing digital information systems from discovery, implementation, through to continuous improvement.
This includes identifying and understanding issues and opportunities, backlog prioritisation, requirements gathering and analysis, project delivery and vendor management.
3+ year experience in product ownership, business analysis or a similar role within large and complex organisations~ Strong understanding of product development life cycle and product delivery in both waterfall and agile methodologies for IT infrastructure or software development
~ Proficient in roadmap development, backlog prioritisation and translating business needs into requirements/user stories.
~ Outcome focus with the flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and ambiguity.
~ Experience with commercial relationships and performance management with third party suppliers is desirable
