We are afriendly, supportive practice with an experienced nursing team and a seniornurse responsible for home visiting. Thepractice has 2 trainers and is a KSS Deanery training practice; we also takeBrighton and Sussex Medical School medical students.
We are partof Chichester Alliance of Medical Practices Primary Care Network which has87,000 patients. The PCN employs a number of additional roles includingpharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social prescribers, a complex carecoordinator and first contact physiotherapists. The PCN continues to expand itsworkforce to support general practice.
We use TPP Systmone clinicalsystem.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be a GP member of theclinical team delivering a wide range of primary care services, ensuring thehighest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a love of general practice to join our expanding team of experienced staff in our purpose built medical centre. There may be the potential for a future partnership opportunity for the right person.

Job descriptionJob responsibilities
Clinicalresponsibilities:
Thepost-holder will undertake the normal duties and responsibilities associatedwith a GP working within primary care.
Inaccordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will provideservices using face to face, telephone and video consultations
Managingadministrative tasks, dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in atimely fashion.
Visitingpatients at home when clinically indicated.
Recordingclear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
Collectingdata for audit purposes when requested.
Prescribingin accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) wheneverthis is clinically appropriate.
SupervisingGP trainees and non-medical clinical staff when needed.
