    Description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Spanish Language Assistant to support the work of the language department, under the supervision of the MFL teachers. You'll be working in whole class situations in the teacher's presence, or you may lead activities independently with small groups of pupils.

    This position is ideal for those who wish to embark on a teaching career as it offers first-hand experience of the MFL curriculum and the opportunity of working with experienced teachers.

    If successful, you will be helping students prepare for oral examinations at IGCSE and A Level as well as helping them practise their speaking skills, especially pronunciation and intonation.

    You will provide in-class support, working with a small group of pupils (either in the class or separately) to deliver our bilingual curriculum - this involves teaching a small group of pupils who have a (near) native advantage.

    You'll also support the department by creating resources, displays, and performing ad hoc administrative tasks.

    This post is a one-year contract, fixed term position.
