    Pension Claims Handler

    Essential Personnel are excited to be working with a forward-thinking company who are based in the centre of Stockport. Due to consistent growth, they are looking for a Pension Claims Handler to join their team.

    In this role you will be tasked with validating, investigating and progressing mis sold pension claims to settlement.

    This role is a hybrid role once relevant training has been completed which is anticipated to be completed within 6 months.

    Main Responsibilities:
    • Build and foster strong relationships with clients
    • Liaise with pension providers to obtain all relevant information
    • Investigate thoroughly all relevant information and paperwork relating to clients pensions with the benefit of OCR technology
    • Progress mis sold pension cases to settlement within relevant timeframes
    Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 09.30 to 6pm, and an early finish at 4pm each Friday. There is overtime available on Saturdays if required/wanted.

    Required Skills:
    • Have previous experience of Pension claims/Pension system
    • Previous experience of using a Case Management System
    • Ability and desire to examine subject access reports
    • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines
    • Be a driven individual with a focus on success
