I'm seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to join our team at a bustling factory! As a maintenance engineer, you'll be in charge of ensuring all our electrical and mechanical machinery runs smoothly, cutting downtime and increasing productivity.

My client is a large multi-site production company with a turnover exceeding £1bn and ambitious growth plans for the upcoming years.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

Performing routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns
Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns
Diagnosing and fixing faults in electrical and mechanical systems
Installing new machinery and equipment when needed
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

The ideal candidate will have:

A level 3 electrical qualification
Experience in a maintenance role
A strong grasp of electrical and mechanical systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical work approach
The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Good communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team
