    Do you know how to get the best out of students? We are looking to appoint a Head of Year for September 2024. We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic leader to join our existing pastoral team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the school continues to provide outstanding pastoral provision for all our students.

    The candidate should be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire and lead a year group. They will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring student targets are met and in creating a vision of success for the allocated year group.

    Bitterne Park School is a large community school (Number on roll: 2000) with a strong tradition of academic achievement. We are an inclusive school providing an excellent education for 11-19 year olds driven by our core values of Respect, Believe and Achieve.
