    We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic leader to join our existing pastoral team.

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the school continues to provide outstanding pastoral provision for all our students.


    Responsibilities:


    Foster a positive and inclusive school environment where every student feels supported and valuedServe as a mentor and advocate for students, providing guidance and support in academic and personal developmentCollaborate with teachers, parents, and external stakeholders to address student needs and promote a holistic approach to educationOversee the pastoral care programme, implementing strategies to promote student well-being and mental healthMonitor student progress and behaviour, implementing interventions and support systems as neededThe candidate should be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire and lead a year group.

    They will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring student targets are met and in creating a vision of success for the allocated year group.


    Requirements:


    Previous experience in a leadership or pastoral care role within a school settingStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parentsPassion for working with young people and dedication to their academic and personal growthExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilitiesRelevant qualifications in education or a related fieldPerks:Opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of studentsCollaborative and supportive work environmentProfessional development opportunities to enhance leadership skillsCompetitive salary and benefits package
