    Senior Java Developer | London or Bedford | up to £105,000

    Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for 2x Java Specialists / Senior Developers / Architects to join our newest client; an exciting organisation that has gone from strength to strength as they continue to invest heavily in the development of their team and their next generation of software products and services.

    The salary for this role is dependent on your experience, which will include other company benefits; including pension, dedicated personal development time, bonus and generous annual leave.

    THE INTERVIEW:

    Face to face interviews will take place during the month of September, and this is likely to be a 2-stage process, so please do anticipate blocking some time out this month.

    THE BASICS:

    We are looking for "hands on" experienced and ambitious Senior Java Developers/Leads to join an inspired and talented team at either our clients' London office or Bedford office . This is an amazing job opportunity for a passionate and driven senior Java Developer to further their career in a technically competent agency, working with prestigious clients on high-profile projects.

    In addition to designing and implementing robust and scalable full-stack solutions , the right candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and senior management. The role offers opportunities to help our client develop new standards and DevOps practices as well as mentoring and leading teams.

    This role will suit someone who has worked in an agency environment or in a consultancy capacity on client-driven, fast-paced and high-profile web projects. With our client you will be involved in designing and implementing large-scale, high-traffic full-stack solutions for an amazing client-list including some of the worlds' most recognisable brands.

    THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

    As a Senior Java Developer, it is essential that you have demonstrable experience of managing the full project life cycle , from conception through to roll-out, to production hosting and support and full-stack web development, ideally with some App development experience .

    If you have worked with Java SE , up to version 10, including multi-threading, JVM performance monitoring and tuning as well as the whole Spring Framework ecosystem, including Spring Boot , we'd like to hear from you TODAY.

    Web technologies, protocols and communication, including how to avoid security vulnerabilities and exposure to relational databases, especially SQL Server and MySQL , including advanced SQL, transaction handling and performance tuning is important.

    NoSQL experience is a bonus.

    Technical Leads with modularisation, white labelling and implementation and hosting of SaaS solutions and Microservices, design and implementation of reusable frameworks : test frameworks and methodologies, including Junit, Selenium, CI and DevOps, AWS, Jenkins, Dockers , Monitoring will be highly sought after.

    If you have experience of architecting and implementing scalable, secure and robust web solutions which cater for high traffic and high availability; systems documentation (architecture, design, APIs) and release management, change control and live deployments, including experience of rolling out solutions to millions of active users please get in touch ASAP.

    Individuals with frontend integration, including an understanding of Thymeleaf/JSP, Angular/React, HTML5/CSS3/Sass should submit their CV.
