    Description

    Sodexo Health & Care are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Finance Manager based at our client's Healthcare trust.

    This position is a crucial role in the delivery of expert financial advice to operational management, and in the production of accurate financial reporting and forecasts.

    You will work closely with our client and provide valuable support in the identification and negotiation of contract variations.

    Delivery monthly financial results with detailed variance analysis, accurate forecasts and clear reporting to stakeholders
    Support in identification of variations to contract
    Support the operators in ensuring the cost associated to the contract are well controlled, and to support with the identification of all costs and revenues associated to the services provided

    Work with site management to deliver accurate monthly accounts to reflect all activity within the account, ensuring that items such as variations, rechargeable works and major project activity are represented accurately.

    Work with the operational teams to analyse performance trends, risks and opportunities and to determine how best the insight from this work can be turned into real performance improvements in the business.

    Ensure financial control environment is properly implemented, especially around weekly/monthly trading accounts, stock management and cost control.
    You will already have held the position of Finance Manager , preferably with in the public sector.

    You will have a strong background in providing expert financial advice to operational management, driving financial performance through commercially sound analysis.

    You will have the ability to adopt an approach of continuous improvement, keeping up-to-date with changes in policy, procedure and legislation and revisit key policies regularly to ensure the team is up to date with recommended financial best practice.

    You will be highly adept to analysing financial information and converting and presenting such information in a clear concise way to both the Client's and the Sodexo workforce.

    Above all you will have the ability the hold strong financial control of all relevant areas of the business.

    A financial qualification- qualified or part-Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or QBE
    Experience of providing financial support to service contracts
    Strong time management and organisational skills to deliver an effective Finance function
    Experience of financial modelling
    Good Excel skill and knowledge of other Office applications (Word/PowerPoint)

    You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £45,000 DOE plus access to a range of benefits, including a performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution and life assurance - 1 x annual salary.
