- Act as AP for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Medical Gases on site and undertake specialist works including planning of these in line with HTM 03-01 and HTM
- Write up maintenance reports and technical procedures for Building Maintenance Activities allied to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Medical Gases.
- Carry out maintenance, inspection and repairs to various types of ventilation and medical gas systems.
- Diagnosing faults on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Medical Gas support systems and rectifying where necessary.
- Assisting in the development of maintenance routines, procedures, risk assessments, preparing and maintaining relevant technical records..
- Working with other craft qualified, semi-skilled and unskilled maintenance staff to develop cross-skilling and cover all levels and aspects of maintenance activities on a team work basis..
- Assist in the training and development of other maintenance/technical staff.
- Participate in emergency call out arrangements and provide cover where necessary during sickness absence periods.
- 5 years experience within building and facilities maintenance
- Level 3 qualification in related trade
