We are looking to appoint a Sales Director who will lead and develop our sales operation to achieve our sales goals and objectives.
This is a crucial role for the Company—if you are a leader with a strong commercial sales background and excellent communication and relationship-building skills, this could be the opportunity for youDevelop and execute strategy plans to achieve/exceed sales targets.
Manage and monitor all sales in Star Power.
Lead, motivate, inspire, and guide the sales team to achieve their best performance.
Establish strategies that aim to improve overall business success across the sales function.
Devising and implementing new business initiatives and sales strategies and monitoring their effectiveness.
Overseeing the company's sales growth by evaluating sales reports and capitalising on products and services.
Recruitment of sales professionals to assist and maintain the long-term growth of the business.
Securing large accounts with the sales team and negotiating contract agreements with customers.
Presenting sales figures to the board and updating on sales growth against company targets.
3+ years' experience working in a senior sales management role, ideally within a generator hire or construction environment.
~ Connections to industry specialists in both Sales and Operations who can be introduced to Star Power.
~ Strong negotiating and sales skills.
~ Sales focused with a competitive nature.
~ In-depth knowledge/understanding of sales practices and processes.
~ A proven background in senior sales management with an understanding of mechanical and electrical Engineering.
~ Good problem-solving/contingency planning skills with the ability to find quick, innovative, and practical solutions.
