    We are looking for a UK-based MedicalWriter to join our independent healthcare communications network.

    As a Medical Writer, you will...

    · Provide high-quality medical writing support to clients across various project types based on a solid understanding of our client's objectives, products and their therapeutic landscape

    · Excel at communicating complex scientific concepts in visually engaging ways

    · Collaborate well with other account team members, ensuring excellence in project delivery across all scientific content

    · Work with passion and commitment, demonstrating enthusiasm and the ambition to make things happen

    Responsibilities will include....

    · Providing excellent medical writing for our clients

    · Delivering projects within budgeted hours and on budget (communicating with the Scientific Director and/or Account Director in a timely manner about any changes to timelines or out-of-scope work)

    · Deep understanding of client product(s) and therapy area(s)

    · Building strong relationships with client contacts, contributing in client calls (leading them where necessary) and taking responsibility for key projects

    · Representing the scientific services team as a valued client contact

    · Cultivating excellent relationships with other departments and functions across the company (client services, digital, etc.)

    · Identifying new organic growth opportunities to maximise existing accounts

    Key skills

    · Excellent writing and editorial skills with the ability to write in a range of styles

    · Strong scientific understanding of assigned therapy areas, and the capacity to learn quickly about new areas

    · Experience working on publication accounts

    · Ability to work in a team environment

    · Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities

    · Demonstrate a level of autonomy in decision-making, with approval or further guidance sought from SD as needed

    · Project management skills, including strong organisational and time-management skills

    · Excellent attention to detail

    · Presentation/communication skills

    · Competent in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and EndNote

    Experience and qualifications

    · At least 2 years' medical writing experience within a medical communications agency

    · High-quality writing: a variety of materials with some experience of different styles of writing

    · Good organisational and verbal communication skills

    · Project management: competence to oversee the editorial process for assigned projects

    · Experience engaging with clients and liaising with KOLs, including on-site attendance and/or experience with virtual events

    · Science degree, preferably a higher/postgraduate degree and ideally a PhD/PharmD or other relevant experience

    Location: As all our teams work from home, you can be based anywhere in the UK.
