    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled hands-on Programme Director with gravitas to oversee a Gas Mains Contract for our client in the Utilities space. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of gas infrastructure from a civil perspective, encompassing repairs and replacement strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and demonstrate ownership from to successful completion, showcasing a proven track record in project lifecycle management.
    • Operate as a senior stakeholder, actively engaging in strategic decision-making, while also willing to dive into the operational aspects when necessary.
    • Exhibit authoritative presence and the ability to challenge effectively across various organizational levels, including the Client and Local Delivery Partners.
    • Embrace a data-driven approach to decision-making and project management, utilizing metrics and insights to drive performance and deliver results.
    • Leverage extensive gas industry experience to comprehend and integrate Health & Safety standards, local council regulations, partner requirements, legislative mandates, and customer expectations into project planning and execution.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in overseeing gas mains contracts, with a focus on civil aspects such as repairs and replacements.
    • Proven capability in managing projects from inception to completion, showcasing leadership and effective stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Ability to blend strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in operational aspects when necessary.
    • Strong communication skills to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of data-driven insights for decision-making.
    • In-depth understanding of Health & Safety regulations, legislative requirements, and customer expectations within the gas industry.
