    We are looking for an Occupancy Planning Manager to lead the EMEA regional Occupancy Planning team engaged in creating inspirational, sustainable workplace experiences for our people and community with our client.

    The Occupancy Planning Manager/Lead is responsible for consistent delivery of planning services, development of occupancy scenarios, and occupancy reporting within the framework of the client's workplace programs and strategy. In this role you will work with regional operations, transactions, and project management functions. This role will interact closely with Transactions, Project Management and MAC (Relocation Project Manager), Technology (JLL/T) and Workplace Strategy teams from JLL.

    What this job involves

  • Acts as single point of contact on regional planning issues for the client's CRE management team, JLL account management, and a regional team of Occupancy Planners
  • Accountable for the results and performance of the regional Occupancy Planning team and service delivery on the account
  • Develops relationships with client real estate team and business leaders to understand their real estate goals and business needs; to promote workplace solutions and concepts to them; and facilitate and/or resolve planning issues identified by them
  • Understands the client's regional portfolio composition, site conditions and organizational occupants, and ensures the client's high level real estate strategies and programs are reflected in proposed occupancy plans and options
  • Develops space programs based on client real estate goals and workplace transformation program
  • Leads the generation of multiple solution options for complex occupancy problems, such as M&A, space optimization, rapid growth, sustainability, consolidations, cost reduction strategies, or economic disrupters
  • Aggregates and interprets data from multiple sources (business requirements, client programs/initiatives, utilization data, capacity data, time constraints, lease options, external factors, current supply of space and projected demand for space), and translates analysis into actionable information for client decision making
  • Accountable for space data integrity and accuracy including building and organizational data, allocations, and occupancy utilizing a CAFM/IWMS database
  • Reports on regional occupancy, vacancy and utilization metrics including portfolio level plans incorporating future real estate actions and headcount forecasts
  • Ensures regional consistency in delivery of JLL services by providing training, following standard operations manual, and incorporating evolving best practices into the account team's work product
  • Accountable for operating within the annual account budget while tracking to assigned financial targets.

    • Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications Desired experience and technical skills

  • 7 or more years work experience in occupancy or space planning at a strategic level, or interior office planning, or move/project management in a corporate real estate setting, AND 2 or more years supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Architecture, Design, Real Estate, Construction or a related field; Advanced degree a plus
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of workplace concepts, hybrid working, programming factors, space calculators, and office design principles
  • Demonstrated display of analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tactfully deliver difficult messages, and tailor information to the audience; presents equally well to executives, large and small groups
  • Possesses a working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace; literate in reading and interpreting floor plans
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with the capability to master client specific programs
  • Ability to consolidate data and floor plans into MS PowerPoint for presentations to client and lines of business
  • Proficient in test fit and option development using CAD tools (ACAD, SketchUp, etc.)
  • Proficient in CAFM/IWMS database (i.e. FMS, Manhattan, Tririga, Archibus, or similar)
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
  • Comfortable with frequent or rapid change; flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to effectively manage time, organize and prioritize deliverables and workload
  • Understanding of and commitment to client service.
