- GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in teaching and learning
- Significant experience off working with pupils with special educational needs in a primary school, primary pupil referral unit or primary special school
- Experience of supporting complex and challenging behaviours within a primary setting
- Experience of teaching pupils with challenging social, emotion and mental health needs and liaising with parents/carers.

About the Role
Oakfield Short Stay Primary School is a 30 place SEMH pupil referral unit for Leicestershire County Council. As a member of our team, you will be committed to supporting high quality, inclusive provision and be able to share your skills, expertise, and knowledge within our setting. You will be working within a team to contribute to the teaching and learning of our school and lead small group activities and 1:1 support as directed by the class teacher
