- Supporting the Room Leader in the planning and delivery of a high-quality curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Taking the lead of the Babies Room in the Room Leader's absence.
- Providing sensitive care and support to babies, including nappy changing, feeding, and sleep routines.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Observing and assessing babies' progress, documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Supervising and supporting other Early Years Educators in the room.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety of the room environment.
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with babies and young children.
- Strong understanding of child development in the early years.
- Proven leadership potential and ability to take initiative.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patient, nurturing, and sensitive individual with a calm and positive demeanour.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and remain calm under pressure.
