- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather and analyse business requirements related to financial processes and systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday finance system-related queries, issues, and enhancements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to implement and configure Workday finance system changes, including customisations, integrations, and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Provide training and support to end users to ensure effective utilisation of the Workday finance system.
- Stay up-to-date with Workday releases, patches, and industry best practices to ensure our financial systems remain current and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the higher education sector.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Workday finance system, including configuration, reporting, and integration capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools is desirable.
