- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and trends.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow projections and maintain liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks.
- Assess financial risks and implement appropriate controls to mitigate them.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization's financial position.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Streamline financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, financial analysis, or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace particularly Google Sheets, and experience with Xero accounting software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the media production or property investment industry is a plus.
