    Description
    Teacher of Religious Studies Location: York Tenure: Part-time to suit
    Axcis Education are delighted to be working with a 'Good' rated secondary school in York who are in need of a part-time teacher of Religious Studies to join them as soon as possible. The school is located just off the A64 north of York and an easy commute from York centre by car or public transport.
    With just over 1000 students on roll age 11-18 the school's latest inspection rated it as 'Good' and 'Outstanding" for it's sixth-form.
    We are looking for the following skills, experience, and attributes...
    • An excellent subject specialist in RS/RE/Religious Studies
    • A practitioner with a genuine passion for improving results for students
    • A teacher who works collaboratively and shares best practice
    • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
    • Someone who is willing to plan and mark
    • Experience of teaching to KS3, 4 and 5
