    Project ManagerPermanent - Hybrid Working

    My client is in an phase of an incredible journey to deliver transport solutions thatconnect local communities, encourage economic growth, and provide sustainabilitythrough the products, the environment they operate within and how we deliverthem.

    The programme office is central and a core part of the delivery, and as part of that we areseeking a Project Manager who will take ownership of projects and feeding intothe Programme Office Manager, support the design, develop, test and operationaldeployment whilst supporting the implementation of tools & methodologies that will beadopted on future projects.

    Efficiency is core to what we do andyou will be instrumental in developing tools to drive transparency on the project status,to both internal and external stakeholders.

    Defining and tracking core attributes of theproject such as BoM cost, mass, core performance characteristics and departmentalperformance to ensure we as a business have the data around us to drive quick andeffective project decisions.

    Working within the PMO team you will have an unparalleledopportunity to work cross functionally ensuring alignment and engagement across theteam whilst collaborating on a daily basis.

    You will engage with the Programme OfficeManager to track the develop of engineering, quality, operational system processesand frameworks that ensure consistent product delivery and business reporting.

    This role is suited to well organised individuals who excel in analytical thinking and usedata-driven approaches to problem solving.

    The opportunity also requires a can-doattitude and above all, a pro-active hands-on approach to get stuck in and work sideby-side with an incredible, diverse team to develop into a fully-fledged OEM.


    Duties and responsibilities:
    In conjunction with the Programme Office Manager and project stakeholders,ensure the project performance targets are defined and tracked including


    • Project income & expenditure
    • Design status
    • Procurement status
    • BoM mass / cost targets
    • Deliverable / milestone status
    • Build status
    • Test plan status
    • Performance, quality and compliance attribute status
    • In project / production change content
    Monitoring of the product scope, ensuring any changes are approved, formallyreleased and communicated to stakeholders.
    Creation of Jira / Confluence filters and dashboards to provide a transparentstatus to project sponsors and stakeholders.
    From Mule development to Start of Production (SoP)and beyond, ensure thatproduct faults / issues are monitored and reported on.
    Provide experience and input into both PMO project framework andoperational systems.
    Lead sprint planning if required.
    Facilitate and support stakeholder collaboration.
    Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience


    • Prior experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Management through a projects lifecycle.
    • Proficient in defining and producing analytics from Jira and Confluence.
    • Experienced in producing Gantt charts, defining dependencies and highlighting the critical path.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Able to simplify information and clearly communicate to others, in person and through documentation /reports.
    • Experienced working cross functionally across multiple business departments.
    • Ability and want to provide solutions to problems.
    • Experience working with quality management systems e.g. ISO22163, ISO9001,
    • ISO/TS 16949, VDA 6.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (or Google equivalents).
