    Description

    We are currently looking for a Service Centre Manager to join the team in our Home Improvement Agency based in Bletchingley, East Surrey. You will be responsible for managing and being accountable for the day-to-day operational delivery, ensuring HIA services are customer focused and commercially viable whilst complying with internal and external governance policies and taking the lead in developing the business.

    What will this role involve?

  • Managing the deployment and on going management of HIA services within the Bletchingley, East Surrey service. This includes ensuring company policy and procedures are adhered to.
  • Seeking out and commissioning new services whilst identifying additional funding sources and opportunities.
  • Managing the corporate client relationships, ensuring contract performance is consistent to contract terms of performance such as KPI, & budgets.
  • Performance management of all HIA service activities to ensure it remains compliant to KPI targets and all performance related targets in formats acceptable to commissioning partnerships and stakeholders.
  • Creation and supply of management reports as and when required.
  • Managing all business activities within budgetary requirements whilst seeking out and commissioning new services, develop and update existing services
  • Working closely with the procurement team to ensure all supply chains are value for money and represent national best practice in purchasing.
  • Being responsible for the line management of HIA Bletchingley, East Surrey team ensuring all members are motivated and kept up-to-date with operational procedures, strategies and performance targets and expectations.
  • Performing regular 1-1s with direct reports and team meetings whilst minimising disruption to front line services.
  • Delivering services to comply with Health and safety legislation.
  • What are we looking for?

  • Excellent organisational skills with a good eye for detail.
  • Demonstrable experience of teamwork and effective communication.
  • Experience in running services both Business to Business and Business to consumer.
  • Administration and customer service skills are required.
  • Experience of managing budgets.
  • Having sound Service and commercial acumen, and personal effectiveness.
  • Experience and application of resource planning, statistical analysis, and monitoring/control techniques
  • Desirable for the right candidate

  • Previous experience within a registered ISO9002 company would be desirable with evidence of working within set quality procedures
  • Knowledge of equipment and service delivery models
  • Knowledge of health and social care services
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Any other qualification in IT or Administration would be an advantage
  • A management qualification such as leading people or technical equivalent.
  • What can we offer you?

  • £52,000 - £55,000 per annum
  • 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00
  • Up to 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus optional 5 unpaid days (pro rata for part-time)
