    This fis a mid sized Investment Bank that has a significant presence in the global market with a diverse employee base working across multiple continents. The company is renowned for its strong emphasis on ethical banking and financial services.

    Job Description

    • Direct and manage counterparty credit risk activities.
    • Create and implement a framework to monitor and measure counterparty risk in the London portfolio.
    • Design and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and report on counterparty risk exposures.
    • Provide expert advice on credit risk to other departments.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to counterparty credit risk.
    • Contribute to the development of risk management policies and procedures.
    • Lead and mentor a team of risk professionals.
    • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.

    The Successful Applicant

    A successful Counterparty Credit Risk Director should have:

    • An advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • Significant experience in counterparty credit risk management.
    • A broad knowledge of traded risk
    • Strong knowledge of financial markets and financial products.
    • In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
    • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions.
