Description
Fleet & Transport ManagerTaskmaster Resources is on the lookout for a Fleet & Transport Manager to be based from our clients Esher site.
This includes timely scheduling for PMI, MOT, drivers routine checks, Tachographs among other compliance measures.Responsible for managing the company's fleet maintenance and administration of vehicle maintenance documentation systems. This will include taking reasonable cost cutting measure for fleet maintenance like researching for best prices for parts.
Overseeing the scheduling of servicing, MOT, repairs and routine maintenance to minimalize disruption to service continuity.
Check current fleet data and update weekly.
Forklift service and repairs.
Management of camera's and tracker installation.
Ensuring any issues picked up from audits are addressed immediately with no re-occurrence.
Managing fuel purchasing across the Account.
Managing fleet administration i.e. insurance, health & safety
Proactive management of telematics, highlighting and addressing any issues in an accurate and timely manner.
Liasing with Principle Operations Manager to implement new policies.
You would have substantial fleet management experience in a multi-site environment.
Good knowledge of transport and Driver Regulations.
Full UK driving licence and HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence & experience of driving trucks/lorries.
A flexible worker, with a positive approach to work.
Hours:
Mon-Fri 40 hour week.
Temp to perm position.
