The Hive is a new provision opened by Hill Park School in September 2023, on a newly refurbished site in Hollingdean, Brighton.
The Hive is for 50 autistic students between Y7 and Y11 who have high anxiety that prevents them accessing mainstream secondary schools or facilities co-located at mainstream secondary schools.
Many will have been home educated or accessing tutoring packages due to the barriers they face attending school. They are able to access an age related curriculum and achieve GCSE's and other Secondary accreditations.
About the role
We are looking to recruit a 0.2 FTE Drama/English (speaking & listening) teacher, with the ability to teach KS3 and up to GCSE level.
