    Description
    DP World are growing and opening a brand new purpose built Warehouse facility in Coventry (Bagington).

    We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team and support in the maintenance of our automated warehouse equipment AMR, ASRS and sorters etc.

    This role will offer a great opportunity to be involved with cutting edge technology and scope for real career development and progression.

    Ensure all planned Preventative Maintenance schedules are completed within agreed timescale to a high standard.
    Carry out repairs/maintenance tasks, with a first-time fix approach.

    Liaise with Engineering Manager on a shift basis to ensure all PPM schedules and any outstanding tasks set out by the Engineering Manager are completed within agreed timescale.

    Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis

    Complete manufacturing/production line tasks as requested or identified and record /report activities and or actions in appropriate databases or related systems.

    Accountable for the performance of the automated warehouse equipment. Work closely with engineering team Management, Launch and Operational teams as part of the of new solutions development process.

    Supports the presenting of technical improvements to customers through proposals, conference calls and presentations in conjunction with account management.

    Actively support and when required lead the delivery of the engineering solution at project launch including the creation of master data, process validation, infrastructure works and onsite contractor management
    Be a SME (subject matter expert) on engineering processes, tools and techniques including MTM, AutoCAD, SketchUp & excel.
    Ensure engineering function is aligned with operations team and other support functions.
    Proven background within Maintenance Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical - 30/70 basis)
    Proven experience of sole work on automated warehouse equipment
    Ability to empathise and understand client's viewpoint and requirements and act as their champion within engineering function.
    Ability to interpret data and derive solid conclusions from analysis.

    Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and familiarity with common formulas), Word, Visio or equivalent, and Project Management software are required.

    Proficient in using AutoCAD to design functional workings of solutions in 3D and 2D formats
