    Salary: National ranging from £55,800 to £77,000 and London £60,900 to £85,000

    This is an exciting opportunity to work as an integral part of the Culture and Conduct leadership team, managing work to build employee engagement and positively impact employee experience across the Financial Conduct Authority.

    The Team/Department

    The Department covers core functions around:

  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: delivery of the FCA's aspirations in Diversity & Inclusion
  • Employee Voice: Creating an exceptional employee experience through ensuring that our colleague voice channels enable all of our people to feel they are involved and can tell us what matters to them most
  • HR Business Partnering: Delivering a strategic HR Business Partner model which is insight led and adds value to the organisation
  • Community engagement – leading our approach to how we engage with our communities, including our volunteering and work experience programmes.
  • What you will be doing

    Leading, supporting and overseeing delivery for our programme of work related to employee voice, engagement and partnerships:

    This will include:

  • Developing our approach to employee voice and engagement across the organization through a range of channels
  • Working in partnership with the Head of Culture and Conduct to continuously improve our approach to staff representation through the Staff Consultative Committee (SCC )
  • Leading and supporting consultation with representative bodies, managing the relationship with them as key stakeholders in departmental change and transformation and assuring the process is successfully representing the needs of colleagues across the FCA
  • Working across the HR function and beyond to ensure a people understand the role of the SCC and Staff Representative Groups (SRG) and have confidence in the role members play on their behalf
  • Oversight for the delivery of the FCA staff survey and working with senior leaders on our organisational response
  • Provide leadership and support for our wider staff network activity, ensuring the networks are operating as effectively as possible
  • Oversight for our community engagement programme
  • Leadership and support of a team ensuring there are clear plans and resources in place to deliver the core priorities and ensuring flexibility across the team to pivot to key activity. The individual will be expected to play an active role as part of the culture and conduct SLT and the wider manager community across the HR function, taking on additional corporate activity as required

    Core benefits that you will receive as standard are:

    The skills and experience you will have

    Minimum

    We are a signatory to the Government's Disability Confident scheme. This means that we will offer an interview to disabled candidates entering under the scheme who best meet the minimum criteria for a role.

  • You will be an experienced HR professional with experience in leading and developing people strategies
  • Significant experience of working with trade unions or other staff representative bodies
  • Strong leadership and management experience; demonstrable experience in engaging, coaching, and developing teams, setting clear vision and direction to deliver business outcomes
  • Essential

  • Strong relationship management
  • An evidence-based HR practitioner able to use metrics, data, and evidence to develop impactful interventions
  • Relevant CIPD or other relevant academic qualifications
